Tourism and Hotel Management

Tourism and Hotel Management Program is a program that accepts students since 1978. Students are admitted  formal process by ÖSYM  examination system  to curriculumn. Students who have passed all of the courses in the curriculum that are 120 AKTS and have achieved a cumulative gross point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and have completed the compulsory practical placement period of 40 days will graduate from the programme. The Graduates can continue their education at First Cycle Degree Programme with passing DGS(Exam for Admittance to Bachelor’s Degree Programs). Also they can continue Open Education at Bachelor’s Degree of many programmes without examination.

It aims to train modern hoteliers who have knowledge on hotel management, human resources management, (domestic and international) marketing, intelligence technologies at several departments of a hotel and legal infrastructure of tourism; so that the students will be principled and efficient at working interdisciplinary. Additionally the Programme offers optional English Prep-Class for one year. Prep-class is not included in two-year education period.
