The Accounting and Tax Applications Program began its formal education in 1978 under the name of Accounting Program in the Department of Economic and Administrative Programs of Mersin Vocational School and later on, its evening education. During the same period, our school was separated from Mersin Vocational School under the name of Social Sciences Vocational School. With a change made in 2009, the name of our program was changed to Accounting and Tax Applications Program. Since the 2010-2011 Academic Year, the Accounting and Tax Department has been continuing its education and training activities under the name of Accounting and Tax Applications Program. It has a total quota of 100 students, 50 students in formal education and 50 students in evening education.
