Accounting and Tax Applications

Accounting and Tax Practices  program was founded in 2002-2003 academic  period and it started  to teaching at the same year with 50 students quota. Educational plan is being implemented for training of students who are qualified to work in accounting and finance departments of public and private sectors. Vocational compulsory and optional courses are conducted in four semesters to fulfill their professional qualification criteria.  It is necessary to complete all the courses available in the program (total 120 ECTS) successfully, obtain 2.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale and complete an internship of 40 working days.  The students who successfully completed the program take an associate’s degree of “Accounting and Tax Practices “.

Graduate students can work in accounting and financial consultancy firms, foreign trade, accounting and finance departments of public and private sectors, banks, insurance companies, tourism and industrial sectors as accounting staff. Graduates may apply to undergraduate programs by obtaining enough score in  vertical pass exam  (DGS)
