Ship Machinery Management Programme  has been implementing the education plan for the purpose of training “Engine Officer”. In the programme education plan besides the basic courses there are vocational courses that are made compulsory in the scope of IMO Model Course 7.04 AIII/1 .

It is aimed to train graduates in the competence of working in a profession which has international validity and abreast of times necessity and technological improvement.

The students graduated from Ship Machinery Management Programme can work as Engine Officer provided that they complete  the 12 months  internship (ocean going and workshop) and be successful in the professional exams.
