Program Profile

In the rapidly evolving and competitive business world, gaining the favor of customers and stakeholders is of great importance for both private sector and public organizations. Communication, which is strategically important for businesses in today's continuously developing business environment, not only ensures their successful continuity but also provides them with a competitive edge. In this regard, the Public Relations and Promotion program, offered under the Department of Marketing and Advertising at our vocational school, was established to meet the need for qualified communication personnel in businesses. Both private sector and public organizations require qualified personnel who use communication techniques effectively and possess strong communication skills.

The Public Relations and Promotion program aims to train individuals who can manage the internal and external relations of private sector and public organizations, have professional knowledge and a command of the professional foreign language, possess creative personalities, can use communication technologies, have a high sense of social responsibility, respect professional ethics, and follow changes and developments.

Students who successfully complete the program and graduate can continue their education by transferring to the relevant four-year faculties through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM each year.

Employment Profiles of Graduates

Graduates of this program can effectively use oral, written, and visual communication tools and methods. They can create content, engage in media design activities, and plan and execute communication campaigns. They can work in communication, press, and promotion departments of private or public institutions as well as in public relations agencies. Additionally, they have job opportunities in media, marketing, and advertising sectors.
