Program Profile
The Tourism and Hotel Management Program is a four-semester higher education program aimed at training qualified personnel to work in hotels, the food and beverage industry, and other tourism enterprises. Therefore, the curriculum is a vocational practice-based program designed with the needs of the tourism sector in mind. The program includes mandatory and elective courses related to accommodation services and food and beverage services, along with common mandatory courses. During the education period, foreign language education, which is a fundamental component of the tourism sector, is given significant importance. Students who undergo one year of preparatory English education receive four hours of English and four hours of German as a second foreign language each semester during the two-year (four-semester) period. In the second year, students take vocational courses related to hotel management (e.g., Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Management, Accommodation Business Management).
