School of Foreign Languages ​​Accreditation Unit Duties and Responsibilities

General Purpose

The Accreditation Unit operates to ensure that the quality of education at the School of Foreign Languages ​​complies with national and international standards, supports quality assurance processes, and fosters continuous improvement as an institutional culture.



Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination

Developing an annual work plan in line with the School's accreditation objectives and coordinating its implementation.
Organizing informational meetings to raise internal awareness of the accreditation process.
Working in collaboration with other units involved in accreditation processes (assessment and evaluation, program development, professional development, student affairs, etc.).



Documentation and Process Management

Preparing, updating, and archiving necessary documents within the standards required by accreditation institutions.
Coordinating the preparation of self-assessment reports (SARs).
Ensuring the regular collection and recording of evidence, data, and measurement-evaluation outputs.

Carrying out the necessary preparations for visit processes (pre-assessment, monitoring, or field visits, etc.).

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement

Monitoring and analyzing quality indicators of educational activities (student success, satisfaction surveys, course evaluations, etc.).
Providing improvement suggestions by evaluating feedback from accreditation institutions or external stakeholders.
Conducting regular meetings, sharing, and reporting to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding accreditation-related processes.
Organizing awareness events for faculty, administrative staff, and students.
Ensuring the sustainability of the process by working in coordination with all parties contributing to the accreditation process.


Reporting and Archiving

Preparing activity reports at the end of each semester and submitting them to the College Administration.
Organizing and archiving accreditation documents, reports, and evidence in a digital and physical format.
Keeping the unit website up-to-date to ensure transparent and traceable processes.

Unit Structure

Unit Coordinator: Responsible for the overall implementation, planning, and reporting of the accreditation process.
Unit Members: Responsible for assigned standard areas and contribute to data collection, documentation, and monitoring processes.
Support Team (optional): Support can be obtained from academic and administrative staff as needed.
