2026 Occupational Health and Safety Training and Basic Training for Students

The Mersin University Occupational Health and Safety Research and Application Center provides Basic Training (Distance/Ongoing) and 2026 Occupational Health and Safety Training (Distance/Ongoing) for our university staff and students.

MERSIN UNIVERSITY OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER REGULATIONS

The Occupational Health and Safety Application and Research Center was established by its announcement in the Official Gazette dated November 7, 2016, number 29881.

Areas of Activity of the Occupational Health and Safety Application and Research Center:

To conduct scientific research, applications, and studies on all matters related to occupational health and safety, both domestically and internationally; to participate in and support ongoing clinical application studies.

To organize national and international courses, seminars, conferences, congresses, symposiums, and similar scientific events on occupational health and safety.

To support undergraduate and graduate-level educational activities at universities within its field of activity, and to provide opportunities for application and research related to these educational programs.

To produce printed and visual publications in line with its objectives, and to create a library and archive to monitor developments and publications in the field of occupational health and safety.

To establish cooperation with relevant public institutions and organizations, worker and employer organizations, universities, institutions and organizations operating in the field of occupational health and safety, and social partner representatives, to continue working on these issues, and to contribute to these efforts.

To establish a communication network with national and international organizations working on occupational health and safety issues and with professionals working in this field.

To conduct training programs for workers, employers, and their representatives, as well as for professionals working in this field, on occupational health and safety issues.

To contribute to university-industry collaboration efforts, to meet the service, examination, research, project, and consultancy requests of different institutions, organizations, and workplaces in the field of occupational health and safety, and to maintain coordination and organization efforts among university units operating in these areas.

To contribute to the formation and awareness of public opinion regarding occupational health and safety, and to the protection of the health and safety of employees.

ontribute to the establishment, maintenance, and coordination of units within the university or in collaborations that provide services in occupational health and safety within the scope of relevant legislation, whether currently operating or newly established.

To develop, implement, and publish project and research proposals in the field of occupational health and safety, and to cooperate with university units and other institutions and organizations for this purpose.

To engage in other activities as decided by the Board of Directors.
