In the Department of Science Education, master's and doctoral programs with a thesis are conducted. Program operates with 8 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 1 Assistant Professor, and 2 Research Assistants. The primary aim of the graduate program is to provide middle school science teachers, both current and future, with specialization in their field as well as advanced teaching and research skills. Additionally, the program aims for our students to acquire the ability to use scientific research methods and techniques. The language of instruction is Turkish. The master's program consists of a minimum of 240 ECTS credits, including at least seven compulsory and elective courses, a mandatory seminar, a course on specialization to be taken each semester, and thesis work. The 21-credit course load includes 1 compulsory and 6 elective courses.
