PRACTICAL FIRST AID TRAINING PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS

Practical first aid training programs and workshops are organized periodically throughout the year in response to identified community needs and current health issues. The training sessions cover topics such as basic life support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) use, trauma management, first aid in disasters, and first aid applications for infants and children.

These activities are conducted with the participation of expert academics, healthcare professionals, and representatives of relevant institutions. The primary objective is to enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In addition, the programs aim to increase public awareness of first aid and strengthen the capacity for appropriate intervention during emergencies.

FIRST AID TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

The Center organizes first aid training and certification programs for healthcare professionals, students, public employees, and various segments of society. The programs provide education on basic first aid practices, emergency management, and life-saving interventions in accordance with current guidelines and standards.

Training sessions are delivered through both theoretical and practical instruction and are repeated periodically. These programs aim to improve participants’ knowledge and skills, prepare individuals to respond effectively to emergencies, and contribute to the promotion of public health.

DISASTER AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ACTIVITIES

To ensure effective first aid response during disasters such as earthquakes, fires, floods, and other emergencies, training programs, drills, and awareness activities are conducted in collaboration with various institutions and organizations.

Through partnerships with university students, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and local authorities, these activities seek to promote disaster awareness and strengthen emergency preparedness capacities within the community.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND PROJECT SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

The Center provides academic consultancy and project support to facilitate the development of scientific research in the fields of first aid, emergency care, and disaster management. Within the framework of university–industry and inter-institutional collaborations, the preparation of national and international research projects is actively encouraged.

Furthermore, training and consultancy services are offered to students and researchers in areas such as project development, data collection processes, and academic publication preparation, thereby supporting their scientific and professional development.

EDUCATION AND STUDY FACILITIES

The Center provides dedicated study and working spaces for researchers, instructors, and students. These facilities offer access to computers, internet services, projection systems, and educational materials.

A suitable academic environment is provided to support both individual and group study activities, fostering learning, research, and professional development.
