Gastronomy and Kitchen Arts Pr.
The aim of our department is to raise
cuisine chiefs (executives) needed not only by accommodation businesses but
also by food and beverage businesses. Accordingly, by ensuring our students to
have basic management training besides having knowledge and skills of cuisine
and also of both Turkish and World cuisines, it is aimed to make them graduate
as cuisine chiefs (executives) who have international qualifications and speak
two languages.
In our Faculty, besides computer lab
with 50 computers capacity, we also have an application kitchen which enables
application for 28 students simultaneously and an application restaurant for 30
people and a bar. In accordance with close relations developed with tourism
sector we do not only ensure our students to do their internship at qualified
businesses but also update our curriculum in accordance with tourism sector’s
