Pedagogical Formation Training for Teaching Certificate

How is the pedagogical formation training provided outside the Faculties of Education/Educational Sciences?

During their undergraduate studies, students receive pedagogical formation training as elective courses starting from the third semester of their regular program.

 

Will the pedagogical formation courses be included in the student transcripts?

a) Since students take these courses as electives, they will appear in their official transcript. Only one transcript will be issued, and the pedagogical formation courses will be listed within it.

b) These courses will be included in the graduation grade point average (GPA).

c) The back of the diploma will include the statement:“Pedagogical formation training has been successfully completed.”

 

Application and GPA Requirements

To apply for the teaching certificate, students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Pedagogical Formation Training courses offered to undergraduate students are classified as elective courses; therefore, no additional fee is required.
