Aim and Objectives


Aim 1: To enhance the quality of pharmacy undergraduate education

Objective 1. To update course curricula and content by incorporating feedback and suggestions from internal and external stakeholders within the framework of existing regulations.

Objective 2. To increase the number of qualified teaching staff in needed and emerging fields.

Objective 3. To ensure the continuity of our students' participation in domestic and international exchange programs.

Objective 4. To strengthen applied fields such as Pharmaceutical Care and Clinical Pharmacy by considering new developments in the profession.

Objective 5. To provide students with patient-oriented education, knowledge, and practices that allow them to gain competence and skills in the field of Pharmaceutical Care.

Objective 6. To increase the number of activities that enable our students to benefit from the knowledge and experience of professionals specialized in different areas of Pharmacy.

Objective 7. To establish the necessary collaborations to enable our students to intern in all areas of the Pharmacy profession.

Objective 8. To design the education program in a way that instills professional ethical principles in students.

Objective 9. To use current technologies in the teaching and learning processes.

Objective 10. To provide advisory services to our students.

Objective 11. To obtain and evaluate feedback aimed at measuring the efficiency of educational activities.

Objective 12. To align our undergraduate curriculum with programs abroad.

 

Aim 2: To enhance the quality of pharmacy postgraduate education

Objective 1. To attract qualified students to our faculty's postgraduate education programs.

Objective 2. To increase the capacity of postgraduate students.

Objective 3. To establish new postgraduate programs.

Objective 4. To broaden the vision of our students.

Objective 5. To align our postgraduate curriculum with programs abroad.

 

Aim 3: To enhance the quality of research and development activities

Objective 1. To increase the number of publications in national and international citation-indexed journals.

Objective 2. To increase the number of publications in high-impact journals.

Objective 3. To enrich the quality research infrastructure and the number of researchers.

Objective 4. To increase the quality and number of research projects conducted at national and international levels.

Objective 5. To increase the number of patents in pharmaceutical sciences.

Objective 6. To establish research collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry.

 

Aim 4: To contribute to society through social responsibility projects

Objective 1. To conduct and ensure the continuity of activities that promote the application areas of Pharmacy to various segments of society through social responsibility projects.

Objective 2. To implement social responsibility projects on topics that are not directly related to Pharmacy.

Objective 3. To increase the number and quality of social responsibility projects conducted by our faculty.

Objective 4. To ensure that social responsibility projects carried out by our faculty are publicized to a wide audience.

Objective 5. To encourage the participation of faculty members and students in social responsibility projects conducted by our faculty.

 

Aim 5: To Enhance the Satisfaction of Internal and External Stakeholders of the Faculty

Objective 1. To develop methods for measuring the satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders of our faculty.

Objective 2. To evaluate the views, expectations, and suggestions of our internal and external stakeholders regarding our faculty.

Objective 3. To engage in activities that enhance the satisfaction of our internal and external stakeholders.

Objective 4. To improve communication between our faculty and its internal and external stakeholders.

Objective 5. To ensure the accessibility of our faculty management and teaching staff to students.

 

Aim 6: To Increase Production, Analysis, and Consultancy Services

Objective 1. To ensure the provision of analysis and consultancy services by our faculty and to maintain their sustainability.

Objective 2. To encourage activities within the Technopark located at our university.

Objective 3. To promote activities at centers such as the Cosmetic, Cleaning, and Chemical Products Production Training, Practice, and Research Center (MUKAM) and the Advanced Technology Training, Research, and Application Center (MEİTAM) at our university.

 

Aim 7: To Increase Activities that Ensure International Recognition

Objective 1. To ensure the opportunity and continuity for our faculty's academic staff and students to benefit from international programs (e.g., ERASMUS+).

Objective 2. To facilitate the realization of international collaborative projects.

 

Aim 8: To Improve the Physical Infrastructure

Objective 1. To organize the classroom and laboratory facilities in our faculty to accommodate the increasing number of students.

Objective 2. To arrange and improve the areas used by faculty members, administrative staff, and students (e.g., study rooms, meeting rooms).

Objective 3. To procure classroom and laboratory equipment according to the needs of our faculty.

Objective 4. To enhance the IT infrastructure and technical equipment in our faculty.

 

Aim 9: To Maintain Communication with Alumni

Objective 1. To conduct activities with graduates of our faculty.

Objective 2. To ensure the participation of alumni in the activities organized by our faculty (e.g., graduation ceremonies, white coat ceremonies, Pharmacy Day).

Objective 3. To establish an Alumni Tracking System and ensure the registration of our alumni in this system.

Objective 4. To provide updated professional information to our alumni after graduation.
