Maritime Business Administration
Department of Maritime Business Administration
is well suited to educate students with the required capabilities and skills
that are necessary for conducting business tasks and activities on ships and
shore based public and privately owned enterprises. To achieve this goal the
department prepared an integrated program of theoretical study and experiential
learning. The Maritime Business Administration Program builds on the maritime
core competencies to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills required
to address the challenges facing the global maritime, transportation, logistics
and international trade business activities and to manage complex international
supply chains. Moreover, students pursue a course of study opportunities that
focuses on economics, business, law, transportation, supply chain, logistics,
and some practical learning about risk and security in subjects such as marine
insurance, international commerce, port and terminal management, and admiralty
law.
