Innovative, liberal, environmentally conscious, and humanistic in the teaching of literature, science, culture, and art; prioritising human knowledge, ethics, and aesthetic issues; supporting critical thinking and creativity; embracing reading, writing, research, and science-based literary and cultural studies; prioritising collaboration between literature and other sciences (Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, etc.), and other arts (cinema, photography, painting, etc.); sharing its knowledge and experience with the local, national, and international literary community through its educational, research, and commentary activities; and becoming a leading department at the national and international level.

Our Mission

To establish a scientific, collaborative, and pluralistic teaching environment equipped with ethical, scientific, and technological expertise and experience, with the aim of cultivating highly intellectual cultural figures. This environment shall offer opportunities for the teaching of literature, culture, and art at national and international levels, contribute to the advancement of literary studies, and guide the literary, cultural, and artistic sphere through research and teaching activities.
