Today, the rapid developments in the economic field are not reflected in the social field to the same extent. It is insufficient to address problems affecting all segments of society such as unemployment, poverty, injustice in income distribution, social security problems and social exclusion solely in the context of economic policies. There is a need for strong social policies to accompany economic policies. In this sense, our department aims to graduate individuals who are sensitive to social problems that arise both globally and nationally and can produce solutions, who can follow current developments in their field, who think freely, and who have internalized scientific thought, critical thinking and lifelong learning.
