The mission of the Department of International Relations is to equip our students with analytical thinking skills regarding the history, functioning, and legal structure of the international system, interstate relations, and Türkiye's place within it. In this context, the Department aims to cultivate knowledgeable, well-equipped, and cultured individuals in their field, and to cultivate versatile, creative, inquisitive, and self-confident students who are prepared to address current issues. Furthermore, one of our key goals is to ensure that our students enter the workforce equipped with analytical thinking skills and a "quality-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial" perspective.

The Department of International Relations, operating with a quality-oriented management approach that prioritizes corporate culture, aims to provide students with a liberal, innovative, and sustainable education. Within this framework, it provides a solid education in fields such as history, foreign policy, and political science, while also providing them with sufficient knowledge in sociology and economics, enabling them to approach national and global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective.
