Our Faculty was established by Law No. 3837 in 1992 and started its activities on November 10, 1992. In our Faculty, the Departments of Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Finance, Labour Economics and Industrial Relations were established in 1992, and the Department of International Relations was established in 1999. The Department of Business Administration of our Faculty started its activities by admitting students in the 1993–1994 academic year, the Department of Economics in the 1995–1996 academic year, the Department of Public Administration in the 1998–1999 academic year, the Department of Finance in the 2005–2006 academic year, the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations in the 2010–2011 academic year, and the Department of International Relations in the 2015–2016 academic year. A four-year undergraduate program is implemented in our Faculty. In the Departments of Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, and International Relations, there is a compulsory English preparatory class, and 30% of the courses are taught in English.
Our Faculty awarded its first graduates as follows: the Department of Business Administration in 1997, the Department of Economics in 1999, the Department of Public Administration in 2002, the Department of Finance in 2009, the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations in 2014, and the Department of International Relations in 2019. In the Department of Public Administration, a Master's Program with Thesis was opened in the Spring semester of the 1996–1997 academic year; in the Department of Business Administration, a Master's Program with Thesis was opened in the 2003–2004 academic year, a Non-Thesis Master's Program in the 2006–2007 academic year; in the Department of Economics, a Master's Program with Thesis was opened in the 2003–2004 academic year; and in the Department of Finance, a Master's Program with Thesis was opened in the 2015–2016 academic year. In the Department of Business Administration of our Faculty, a Distance Non-Thesis Master's Program was opened on 13/08/2008, and a Doctoral Program was opened on March 25, 2009. The Doctoral Program started to admit students in the 2009–2010 academic year. In addition, the Second Non-Thesis Master's Program for Professionals in the Department of Business Administration started to admit students in the 2013–2014 academic year. A Doctoral Program was opened in the Department of Public Administration of our Faculty, and it started to admit students in the Spring semester of the 2014–2015 academic year. A Doctoral Program was opened in the Department of Economics of our Faculty, and it started to admit students from the 2013–2014 academic year onwards.
The Department of Finance, which was established in 1992 together with the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, started to admit its first students to the Master's Program from the 2015–2016 academic year and began to educate students at the graduate level. The Finance Master's Program consists of four divisions: Fiscal Theory, Public Finance, Fiscal Law, and Budget and Financial Planning. Since the 2018–2019 academic year, there has been a Master's Program with Thesis in the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations under the Institute of Social Sciences, and at the same time, it is the only graduate program in this field offered in the Cukurova region. Since the 2018–2019 academic year, a Master's Program with Thesis in the Department of International Relations under the Institute of Social Sciences has also started.
