Streaming Process for Undergraduate Graduation

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1st Grade

 

· Students who have registered to our faculty can follow the announcements on our University website when the course registration process begins. 'Student Information System' He/she selects the courses through and sends them to the advisor for approval.

· Course selection is completed after the approval of the advisor. The course schedule can be followed through the student information system.

· Our students who want to be exempt from the English course in the 1st year must follow the "English Exemption Exam Announcement" of the School of Foreign Languages and take the exam on the specified date. Students who want to be exempt from other courses must fill out the "Exemption Request Form" and submit their "Transcripts" and "Course Contents" to the department secretariat by the last business day of the first week of the first week of classes .

· Like all other announcements, midterm and final dates are available on our faculty's website. 'Announcements' can be followed in the section.

· Our students who want to participate in the Erasmus program can ' Aply ' in the 1st year, but can go in the 2nd year at the earliest.

 

 

 

 

2nd Grade

 

· Course registration dates are monitored + Course registrations are made through student information transactions + Advisor approval is provided.

· Our students who are willing and have a good average can apply to double major and minor programs as of the 3rd semester.

· Candidates who will apply to the program must first choose ' Double Major' It is required to fill out the Minor Application Form and submit it to the department secretariat .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3rd Grade

 

 

· Course registration dates are monitored + Course registrations are made through student information transactions + Advisor approval is provided.

· Our students taking the 'Production Management' course of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema are required to obtain a shooting permit. For permission, the ' Project Permission Request Form ' must be filled out on our faculty's website and then the form must be submitted to the department secretariat.

· Students who will shoot in the Production Management course must fill out the ' Material Request Form' for the shooting equipment and submit it to the personnel responsible for the technical materials, together with the signature of the instructor teaching the course. ' Material Delivery Report ' at the end of the shooting It must be filled out and delivered together with the equipment to the responsible personnel intact and complete.

 

· Our students who take the 'News Workshop' and 'Interview Techniques' courses in the Department of Journalism fill out the ' Project Permission Request Form' and submit it to the department secretariat and then use the 'Material Request Form' for the necessary equipment. must fill in the form and submit a copy of the form to the personnel responsible for technical materials, together with the signature of the instructor teaching the course. At the end of the given period, the equipment must be delivered to the responsible personnel intact and complete, together with the other copy of the form.

 

· Our students must complete their internships for graduation. Our students who want to do an internship must first complete the ' Internship File ' for RTS and the 'Internship File' for Journalism. Must download the 'Internship File ' and have the "Internship Activities Application Form" in the Internship file approved first by the institution where the internship will be performed and then by the head of the department. After the approval process, the dates of the internship must be notified to the department secretariat at least 15 days in advance. Our students who have completed their internship must submit their "Internship File" to the department secretariat without wasting time .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4th Grade

 

· Course registration dates are monitored + Course registrations are made through student information operations + Advisor approval is provided.

 

· Our students who have completed their courses and are eligible to graduate must fill out the 'Student Discharge Form', which they can obtain from our faculty's Registrar's Office, and submit it to the Registrar 's Office after obtaining the necessary signatures.

 

STUDENT DOCUMENT AND TRANSCRIPT PROCEDURES

 

> Students who want to obtain a Student Certificate or Transcript 'e State' They can access these documents via . For documents, they can also apply to our faculty's student affairs office or send an e-mail to rts@mersin.edu.tr with their student information.

 

HORIZONTAL TRANSFER PROCEDURES

 

> Students who want to transfer to our faculty based on their GPA must fill out the ' Transfer Application Form' and apply to our faculty's student affairs office along with their "Transcript", "Course Contents Document", "Disciplinary Penalty Certificate" and "YKS Result Information" they received from their faculty. . Students whose course adjustments are checked and found eligible must complete their student registration at the Central Student Affairs Office within the specified period. For horizontal transfer, the student's GPA must be at least 2 out of 4 and at least 60 out of 100. Students who want to transfer from our faculty to a different faculty can access the "Disciplinary Penalty Documents" from our faculty's student affairs office.

 

REGISTRATION FREEZING PROCEDURES

 

> Registration Freezing procedures must be done within the first 4 weeks of the start of education. Students who want to freeze their registration must fill out the ' Petition for Freezing Registration ' together with their 'Excuse Documents' (Poverty certificate, health report, etc.) and submit it to the department secretariat.

 

 

ELECTIVE COURSE CHANGE PROCEDURES

 

> Elective course changes can be made at the beginning of the semester within the course registration renewal dates. For changes, the ' Elective Course Change Request Form ' must be filled out and submitted to the department secretariat.

 

REGISTRATION DELETION PROCEDURES

Registration deletions can be made at any time the student wishes. The student who wants to cancel his/her registration must submit the Student Disconnection Form
to our faculty's Registrar's Office after receiving the necessary signatures.
