Department of Advertising and Public Relations

The obligation to use scientific methods in the process of transferring efficient messages to the target audience while advertising product, brand and services requires qualified manpower specialized on this field. The purpose of Advertising and Public Relations Department is to educate modern directors and experts who can respond the need of the sector. Our department aims to graduate students with the ability to adapt developing world and turn their profession into art; who are analysts, hardworking and creative, faithful to Atatürk’s principles and revolutions, useful to the society andhave critical point of view.

The first two years of education program in our department consists theoretical classes related to Communication, Advertising, Public Relations disciplines. It is planned to specialize with group or project studies in the last two years of education. Our graduates can be employed in advertising and public relations departments of both governmental agencies and private corporations such as advertising agencies, public relations companies, and media planning companies etc.
