* The first thing you need to do is to send an e-mail to pdrm@mersin.edu.tr with your name, surname, department you are studying, student number, phone number and a photo of your student ID. After the information you have submitted is evaluated by the center experts, if there is no obstacle for you to receive psychological counseling, you will be returned via your e-mail address. 

* If you are not a student of Mersin University, you cannot benefit from this service. In accordance with our regulations, our unit only provides services to students enrolled in our university. Please apply to other health institutions where you can receive psychological counseling services.

* If the Center has reached you, you should see the link containing the informed consent and pre-interview form in your e-mail. This form contains the information you need to start counseling. Please read the information on the form carefully and fill out the form. Confirm that the information is correct. The completed form will be automatically sent to the center's e-mail address.

* If the Center has not received your application after 15 days, this may be due to a technical malfunction. For this reason, if you think that your form has not been seen or returned, please contact the center secretariat either by sending an e-mail again or by calling 0 324 361 00 01 with extension 35481. Please contact the center secretariat with extension no.

* The forms you have filled out will be evaluated by the center experts and your counseling sessions will be determined by taking into account the days and times suitable for you. The determined day and time and information about the online platform (Zoom) will be sent to you via your e-mail. On the specified day and time, you and the center specialist will be able to have your first session online.

* The information on the forms allows the specialist to get to know you and have preliminary information about you, as well as the people to be called in case of emergency and the ethical registration system. For this reason, we kindly ask you to fill out the form in order to start counseling.
