Mission

The mission of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center is to contribute to the development of individuals who are self-confident, open to learning and growth, mentally and physically healthy, equipped with 21st-century skills and competencies, aware of their individual and social responsibilities, and committed to scientific and ethical values. In line with this, our objectives are:

To support the personal, social, and academic development of our university students by equipping them with the skills that will facilitate their adaptation to university life.

To conduct research, provide counseling, and deliver training in the field of psychological counseling and guidance, both domestically and internationally, in collaboration with the relevant academic units of the university.

To provide psychological counseling and guidance services to help university students understand themselves, make healthy decisions, gain problem-solving and communication skills, and improve their academic performance.

Vision

The vision of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center is to prepare a strong team of experts and provide strong academic support to prepare and implement preventive, developmental, and crisis intervention programs in line with the emotional -social, academic, and career development needs by preparing and implementing preventive, developmental, and crisis intervention programs with a strong team of experts and robust academic support, ensuring that the most up-to-date practices in psychological counseling are offered for the benefit of our university students.
